Cru Sauvage from Wild-Harvested Bolivian Cacao

A complex chocolate with notes of dried fruits, honey, and the sweet scent of orchids. One of the few wild-harvested cacaos in the world. Available in bulk only: $17/lb.


Danta Chocolate from Guatemala

Guatemala chocolate maker Carlos Eichenberger creates this small-batch artisan chocolate entirely from local cacao grown on the Finca Las Acacias and Finca Los Ujuxtes plantations. Danta’s Los Ujuxtes is one of the finest milk chocolates we’ve tasted.  Tasting Notes and Reviews.

The Los Ujuxtes is soft and complex, particularly the milk chocolate, while the Las Acacias is tart and has some kick. The most precious is the White with Nibs, a pure and intense chocolate experience blending plantation cocoa butter with the flavor and crunch of freshly-crushed beans.

Bars are 50g and $6.00 per bar.

Caraibe 66% from the Caribbean

A tart powerful blend of  Caribbean trinitario cacaos. Excellent for those who like their chocolate dark and intense. $6.50 per 75g bar.

Guanaja 70% from the Caribbean

A warm, spicy blend of Caribbean criollo and trinitario cacao with a bit of forastero for tartness. The flavor sits brightly in your mouth and stays with you. $6.50 per 75g bar.

Jivara 40% Milk Chocolate from Venezuela

A gentle, caramelly milk chocolate. One of my favorites for pairing with tropical fruit. $6.50 per 75g bar.

Manjari 64% from Madagascar

Bright and citrussy, this is one of my favorite chocolates for pairing with fruit or for just plain eating. $6.50 per 75g bar.

Nyangbo 68% from Ghana

The Cabernet Sauvignon of chocolate: a bold, round, mouth-filling chocolate produced from Ghana beans. Rare in the U.S.  Tasting Notes and Bar Reviews. Available in bulk only: $20/lb.

Palmira 64% from Venezuela

An elegant single-plantation bar with gentle raspberry notes. A favorite of many of my customers.  $6.00 per 100g bar.

Tanriva 33% Milk Chocolate from Madagascar

Unlike many milks, this chocolate melts lightly on the tongue, leaving a clean taste with a hint of saltiness. $6.50 per 75g bar.
